Welcome to West Seneca, NY

West Seneca is centrally located in Erie County, just east of the city of Buffalo and the city of Lackawanna. The town is bordered to the north by Cheektowaga, to the east by Elma, to the south by Orchard Park and to the west by Buffalo and Lackawanna. West Seneca is one of the towns – along with Orchard Park, Hamburg and others – that form the inner “Southtowns,” a collection of suburban towns in the southern half of the county. West Seneca was basically a farming community until new housing and commercial development changed it to the bustling suburb of about 45,000 residents it now is.

The McKinley Mall in Hamburg and the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga both are 15-minute drives from West Seneca.
